Looking for writers of Space Control
Hello,
My name is Thomas Sasser. I know my user name may have given that away already!
I am here after a search on Google looking for a wealth of humor writers. I am not a writer. I am a model kit and toy prototyper. I make prototype toys for a living. Myself and a couple of friends who are also builders have gathered to create a series of film shorts. I have worked contract jobs for large studios and small distributors. We intend for this project to be like the other commercial contracts and endeavors we have been involved in.
My friends and I are working to produce an original series of short 12 minute chapters in a larger story arc. Our intention is to create a 1950's style and look of sci-fi. The primary characters will be puppets, marionettes, string, hand, sock, and stop motion, whatever it takes
I am here looking for a writer or writers to assist in writing scripts. I am looking for humorous writers who understand the genre of 1950's sci-fi, the human condition, just plain old stupid site gags and humor in general. We would like to keep our stories clean, no cursing or sexual innuendo. We have a basic story outline, but require assistance in writing each cliffhanger chapter of our story. We are not looking for writers of sci-fi or completed scripts at this time, just a person or persons who are able and willing to work with us.
I hope this is the right forum to ask this in as I am primarily looking for a writer of humor. It doesn't have to be in script form just good tongue in cheek humor. Short stories, humorous situations, one liners, it can all be thrown into the blender. Have I peeked anyone's interest or does anyone know who may be able and willing to assist?
