Horace J. Digby has been creating and performing humor since shortly after birth. He discovered written humor at age eight while pretending to be too sick for school, when he found a quaint an curious volume of forgotten lore in the family attic, in the form of a cloth-bound edition of Robert Benchley's "My Ten Years in a Quandary and How They've Grown." Digby was amazed that adults actually wrote things like that in books. In 2005 Digby won the prestigious Robert Benchley Society Award for Humor.

A friend tell of his new manager's second day on the job.
The first day was a Friday. My friend spent the weekend removing his new head manager's office door, sheet rocking the vacated doorway closed, re-wallpapering and re-wainscoting the wall, and moving a piece of hallway furniture complete with a small potted plant on top in front of the new head manager's former office door.
On Monday the boss returned and spent a quiet hour and fifteen minutes looking for his office. Imagine his embarrassment when he finally had to ask where his office was, and when the receptionist, who was in on the prank, pretended not to know who he was, and implied that they might have to call security to straighten this out.
