- I am an author (with 15 published novels and 2 non-fiction books) and am living my dream. I also have a husband, a broken down trailer house, a car that needs new brakes and the door fixed so I can get the husband in and out, and three kids that refuse to be known as "children" since they are all 30-something. Hey, I didn't say my dream didn't have a nightmare side to it once in awhile. I also write for a bunch of magazines, both in print and online. Oh, and if any of you need an editor, I'm available, and I'm good. That's because I've been doing it for over 40 years. If you don't believe me on that one, ask Billie. She writes well and I make her look good! LOL!

- Too many to list all of them. Eugenia Price, Anya Seton--oh, you mean living ones? Well, then, Mary Higgins Clark, John Grisham, Billie Williams, Deb Stover, Alice Duncan (by any one of her 16 or something names), Ingrid Taylor, Joyce Anthony, and Debbie Macomber. I'm too old to remember the other ones, but I know them when I see them! Used to like Millie Criswell, too, but then she quit writing and went to work as her husband's secretary. Sometimes this whole business really sucks!

- On my 40th birthday my daughter threw me a surprise birthday party. I always said I'd be too smart to let her pull such a thing off. I was so dumb I even went and picked up two of the non-driving guests and brought them to the house and STILL didn't catch on! Yeah, it's good when we can laugh at ourselves, not just at other people.
