Infinite Space, Infinite God
Favorite practical joke
Mine: I was on scholarship in ROTC in college. One of the stipulations for getting a scholarship was that you could not have children. On April Fool's Day, I called my commander and (sounding convincingly distraut) told him I was pregnant and asked what was going to happen to my scholarship. I let him sputter for a couple of minutes about having to look for the answer before I said, "Don't look too hard. April Fool!" He said the main thing on his mind was, "Who did this to her?!" (I was quite the innocent.)

Yep, Vern seems a bit persnickety even after you did all that work putting his stories down. It does seem as if he has his claws full with all that Mensa Mayhem.
Good luck!
Hi, Karina: So you're familiar with Airedales, eh? Together, my pooch and I flunked three obedience courses. I scanned your web site -- neat stuff. I've thought about homeschooling my kids, too, but I'd end up doodling all over their textbooks. Your military background's intriguing, too. My editor used to work at "Stars & Stripes." (I used to be a fan of Bill Maudlin, who cartooned "Willie" and "Joe" in WWII, think Maudlin also got into a scrape with Patton)
Dragons, huh? Or eh as we Canadians say. I've always felt kind'a bad for dragons, breathing fire all their lives and all. Will check out your blog and site.
The The Barbarian Swordswoman's Guide to Parenting sounds like a winner! I remember reading about your mummified chicken on the CWO list. Great project!
